《PTCG 寶可夢卡牌 擴充包：熱風的競技場》（日文：強化擴張包 熱風のアリーナ，英文：Hot Wind Arena）是《朱／紫》世代推出的第九款日本卡牌子系列，於 2025 年 3 月 14 日在日本正式發售。本作以「訓練家的寶可夢」為主題延續系列設定，將多位玩家熟悉的人氣訓練家與其代表寶可夢一同收錄，打造出極具收藏與對戰價值的全新卡包。

在這一彈中，官方選用四位人氣極高的訓練家作為本作核心：金銀主角「阿響」、神奧冠軍「竹蘭」、帕底亞的料理天才「派帕」，以及初代知名訓練家「小霞」。前三名訓練家的代表寶可夢更以 Pokémon ex 的型態登場，分別是竹蘭的烈咬陸鯊、悠木的鳳王，以及派帕的獒教父。這三位訓練家也同時成為卡包封面的主視覺人物，使整套卡包風格鮮明而具辨識度。

標準卡池共包含 63 種卡牌（不含秘密稀有），延續系列卡包高品質的插畫與多樣機制。每盒補充盒內含 30 包，適合想衝擊稀有卡或收藏整套卡牌的玩家。為了回饋購買卡盒的玩家，首批購買者可額外獲得一包三張入的特典卡包，收錄 2024 年寶可夢 TCG 插畫大賽的三張優勝作品，包括大力鱷、皮卡丘與毒電嬰 ex 等限定卡牌，具有相當高的收藏價值，且數量有限，先到先得。

本次子系列更特別以「限制賽」（Sealed Battle）為核心設計理念，因此在日本官方的寶可夢 Gym 門店於 2025 年 3 月 14 日至 5 月 31 日期間，全國同步舉辦官方限制賽活動。只需支付參賽費，就能領取 15 包《熱風的競技場》卡包、一張隨機款式的「莎琳娜」卡，以及一個紀念卡盒，並以開包獲得的卡牌與現場提供的基本能量卡，組出 40 張套牌，在四獎盃規則下進行比賽。小組賽通常以最多四人的循環賽方式進行，小組冠軍能獲得一包「限制賽特典包」，其中可能開出三張極具吸引力的 SV-P 特典卡：悠木的鳳王 ex、竹蘭的烈咬陸鯊 ex 或派帕的獒教父 ex。此外，每場比賽最後還會舉辦石頭剪刀布小型賽，勝出者同樣能獲得一包特典包，使整個活動既競技又充滿趣味。

除了日本外，也推出官方授權的國際版本。繁體中文版於 2025 年 3 月 28 日上市，韓文版則於 2025 年 5 月 16 日發售。英語系玩家則能在《Destined Rivals》擴充包中找到本系列部分卡牌內容。值得一提的是，「Hot Wind」來源於寶可夢招式「熱風（Heat Wave）」的日文名稱「ねっぷう」，因此整個卡包以「熱風」為象徵，營造出既充滿力量又具速度感的主題氛圍。

“PTCG Pokémon Trading Card Game: Expansion Pack – Hot Wind Arena” (Japanese: 強化拡張パック 熱風のアリーナ, English: Hot Wind Arena) is the ninth Japanese sub-series released under the Scarlet & Violet generation. It officially launched in Japan on March 14, 2025. This set continues the theme of “Trainer’s Pokémon,” featuring many beloved trainers paired with their signature Pokémon, making the expansion both highly collectible and competitive in gameplay value.

In this release, the Pokémon Company chose four extremely popular trainers as the main focus of the set: Ethan from Gold & Silver, Sinnoh Champion Cynthia, Paldea’s cooking prodigy Arven, and the iconic Kanto trainer Misty. Three of these trainers’ partner Pokémon appear as Pokémon ex cards—Cynthia’s Garchomp, Ethan’s Ho-Oh, and Arven’s Mabosstiff. These same three trainers also serve as the main visual figures on the booster pack artwork, giving the entire set a distinctive and memorable identity.

The standard card pool includes 63 cards (excluding secret rares), continuing the series’ tradition of high-quality illustrations and diverse mechanics. Each booster box contains 30 packs, making it appealing both for collectors aiming to complete the full set and for players hunting rare pulls. To reward early buyers, first-print booster boxes come with an additional three-card promo pack featuring the winning artworks from the 2024 Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest—special cards such as Feraligatr, Pikachu, and Toxel ex. These limited bonuses have significant collectible value and are distributed while supplies last.

This sub-series was specially designed with Sealed Battle as its core concept. From March 14 to May 31, 2025, official Pokémon Gym stores across Japan are holding nationwide sealed battle events. Participants pay an entry fee and receive 15 Hot Wind Arena booster packs, a randomly selected Serena promo card, and a commemorative deck box. Using only the cards pulled from these packs plus basic Energy provided on-site, players build a 40-card deck and compete under a four-prize-card rule format. Group rounds typically consist of a round-robin among up to four players. Group winners receive a “Sealed Battle Promo Pack,” which may contain one of three highly sought-after SV-P promo cards: Ethan’s Ho-Oh ex, Cynthia’s Garchomp ex, or Arven’s Mabosstiff ex. Additionally, each event concludes with a rock-paper-scissors mini-game, and the winner also receives a promo pack, adding a casual and fun element to the competitive atmosphere.

Beyond Japan, Hot Wind Arena is also available in officially licensed international versions. The Traditional Chinese edition launched on March 28, 2025, while the Korean version released on May 16, 2025. English-speaking players can find parts of this sub-series included within the Destined Rivals expansion.

It is worth noting that “Hot Wind” comes from the Japanese name of the Pokémon move Heat Wave (ねっぷう), which shapes the thematic direction of the set—evoking a sense of heat, power, and dynamic motion.
